Upper Valley Apple Corps Pruning Workshop
Join us for a pruning workshop on Sunday, February 15 from 9:30am-12pm at the Hartford Town Hall! We're joined again this year by Kevin Geiger—whether you've tried your hand at pruning before or are a newbie, Kevin has boundless pruning knowledge to share.
We'll start with an indoor classroom session before moving outside to put our skills to the test on Apple Corps apple and pear trees outside the Town Hall. Be sure to dress warmly! Participation is free—just email uppervalleyapplecorpsvt@gmail.com to RSVP.

Quechee Abenaki Garden Earth Weekend Work Party
We will have a food break at noon, so feel free to bring food and/or snacks to share. We will work to prepare the garden area for planting (much, compost, tilling), and may have plants ready to set into the food forest area. Bring shovel, rake, hoe, clippers, gloves and water. If you are unable to work, you are very welcome to attend and share food, stories and love with everyone! This will be our second season of raising food for needy Abenaki families, and building out seed stock so that, within a couple more years, we will have traditional Abenaki seeds to give away to those who want them.
